| Web地图服务是利用成熟的Web技术、计算机技术、GIS技术,基于互联网实现的一种新型地图服务方式。以Google Maps为代表的地图服务的推出开创了全球化地理信息服务新的开端,Google Maps提供的API具有开放式、低成本和易用性的特点,使其应用更加广泛。本文通过介绍Google Maps的功能、特点和Google Maps API的使用方法,探讨了Google Maps API在Web地图服务中的应用,并以全球江河泥沙信息发布系统为例,介绍了基于GoogleMaps API的Web地图服务应用系统的开发实践。 |

| The Web map service, by using the wel-l rounded network technology, computer technology and GIS, realized a new method of map service based on internet . The break-through of map service based on Google Maps indicates the beginning of globalizing geographic information service. Google Maps API is
characterized by its openness, low cost, and easy application, so it is used widely. The functions and characteristics of Google Maps and the applying method of Google Maps API are introduced in this paper, and an application case of Google Maps API in Web map service is discussed. Then, taking the release system of erosion and sedimentat ion informat ion in global extent as an example, a case study on Web map service system based on Google Maps API is performed. |
